Why you should spay or neuter your pets
- We would be getting A LOT more sleep if someone had spayed and neutered the kittens' parents.
- In the US, more than 3 million cats and dogs are euthanized in shelters each year.
- Only 30% of dogs and 2-5% of cats entering shelters are reclaimed by their owners.
- Even if you do find homes for your pet's puppies or kittens, that means there are fewer homes available to take in other pets from shelters.
